Senergy Builders hires a third-party HERS rating on all of their homes, so you know how energy efficient their homes are. The HERS rating (Home Energy Rating System) is like a miles-per-gallon rating for homes—it measures a home's energy efficiency. It’s especially important for newly built homes, as it gives buyers and builders a sense of how energy-efficient the property is compared to a standard new home.
